Durdle Door, Dorset, England Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch in Dorset, made all the more striking by an adjacent stretch of sand and shingle beach, surrounded by dramatic chalk cliffs. This part of the shoreline, known as the Jurassic Coast thanks to the ancient fossils lurking in the rock formations, was England's first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site.
